Gold Canyon Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”)

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
ENTRY IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES. VOID IN QUEBEC AND WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are of the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction at time of registration.
2. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: Sweepstakes begins on November 16, 2009 at 12:00:01 am Central Time (“CT”) and ends on December 31, 2009 at 11:59:59 pm CT (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Sponsor’s time clock is the official clock for this Sweepstakes.
3. TO ENTER: Log on to HostTheMost.goldcanyon.com (“Web Site”) during the Sweepstakes Period. Follow the on-screen directions to complete an online registration form to host a Gold Canyon Party. Once the online registration form to host a Gold Canyon Party is complete, you will receive one (1) entry into the applicable Drawing for the Entry Period during which the registration is received (as outlined in section 4 below) and you will receive one (1) entry into the Grand Prize Drawing. Limit one (1) registration per person and/or email address. When you host a Gold Canyon Party with a minimum total order of $150 or more during the Sweepstakes Period, you will receive an additional five (5) entries into the applicable Drawing for the Entry Period during which the party was hosted along with five (5) additional entries into the Grand Prize Drawing. Via Mail: To enter the Sweepstakes without hosting a party, on a piece of paper (approximately 3” by 5”) legibly hand-print your name, complete home address (no P.O. boxes please), date of birth and daytime phone number, and mail your entry to: Gold Canyon Sweepstakes AMOE, P.O. Box 1096, Elmhurst, IL 60126. Entry must be mailed in a hand-addressed, postmarked outer envelope. Each mailed entry will receive five (5) entries into the Drawing for the Entry Period in which the entry is received and five (5) entries into the Grand Prize Drawing. Entries received between December 31, 2009 and January 7, 2010 will be included in the Drawing for the final Entry Period. Limit one (1) mailed entry per outer postmarked envelope. Entries must be postmarked by December 31, 2009 and received by January 7, 2010. No photocopies or mechanically reproduced entries allowed. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, illegible, or postage-due entries or mail. Entries are property of Sponsor and will not be returned. All entries have an equal chance of winning.
4. PRIZES, DRAWINGS, ODDS AND ACTUAL VALUES: Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing (“Grand Prize Drawing”) from all eligible entries received throughout the Sweepstakes Period. Odds of winning the Grand Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. Grand Prize Drawing will be conducted in Elmhurst, Illinois on or about January 14, 2010 by an independent judging organization (“Judges”), whose decisions shall be final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.

ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: $10,000 USD*.
SIX (6) FIRST PRIZES (one per Entry Period): $500 USD*.
SIX (6) SECOND PRIZES (one per Entry Period): $300 USD*.
SIX (6) THIRD PRIZES (one per Entry Period): $200 USD*.
NINETY (90) FOURTH PRIZES (fifteen per Entry Period): $100 USD*.
*All prizes will be awarded in the form of a check/cheque payable to the winner.
TOTAL VALUE OF ALL PRIZES IN THE SWEEPSTAKES IS: $25,000 USD.
5. GENERAL CONDITIONS: U.S. residents are solely responsible for any taxes on their respective prizes, and Grand Prize winner will receive an IRS Form 1099 for the value of the prize if they are a United States resident. No substitution of any prize is offered, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. No transfer of any prize will be permitted. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s Privacy Policy (available at HostTheMost.goldcanyon.com) which are final and binding in all respects. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. Grand Prize winner will be notified by mail and will be required to complete, sign and return an Affidavit/Declaration of Eligibility/Liability Release, and, where lawful, a Publicity Release within ten (10) days of attempted notification or prize may be forfeited. Drawing prizes will be shipped via mail within 4 to 6 weeks of the end of the Sweepstakes Period. If any potential Winner is a Canadian resident, potential Winner will be required to correctly answer a mathematical skill question in order to be declared a Winner in the Sweepstakes. If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who is responsible or who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY YOU OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor will award the prize in a random drawing from all eligible entries received as of the time of cancellation. This Promotion is offered only in the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec) and is governed by the laws of the state of Arizona, and all claims must be resolved in the federal or state courts of Maricopa County, Arizona.
6. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE: No liability or responsibility is assumed by Sponsor or Sweepstakes Parties resulting from user's participation in, attempt to participate in the Sweepstakes, download of any information in connection with participating in the Sweepstakes. No responsibility or liability is assumed by the Sponsor or Sweepstakes Parties for technical problems or technical malfunction arising in connection with any of the following occurrences, without limitation, that may affect the operation of the Sweepstakes: hardware or software errors; faulty computer, telephone, cable, satellite, network, electronic, wireless or Internet connectivity or other online communication problems; errors or limitations of any Internet service providers, servers, hosts or providers; garbled, jumbled or faulty data transmissions; failure of any e-mail transmissions to be sent to or received; lost, late, delayed or intercepted e-mail transmissions; inaccessibility of the Web Site in whole or in part for any reason; traffic congestion on the Internet or Web Site; unauthorized human or non-human intervention of the operation of the Sweepstakes, including without limitation, unauthorized tampering, hacking, theft, virus, bug, worm; or destruction of any aspect of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical errors in the announcement of prizes or these Official Rules, or any inaccurate or incorrect data contained on the Web Site. Use of Web Site is at user’s own risk. Sponsor and the Sweepstakes Parties are not responsible for any personal injury or property damage or losses of any kind that may be sustained to user's or any other person's computer equipment resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes, use of the Web Site or the download of any information from the Web Site. By participating in the Sweepstakes, the entrant thereby releases Sponsor and the Sweepstakes Parties from any and all claims, damages or liabilities arising from or relating to such entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes. By accepting a prize, recipient agrees to release and hold Sponsor, Sweepstakes Parties, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents harmless from any liability for injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the Sweepstakes; from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize including but not limited to liability for taxes, duties or other levies assessed upon the prize. Except if winner is a resident of Tennessee, or where prohibited by law, by accepting a prize, winner grants permission for Sponsor and those acting under its authority to use his/her name, photograph, voice and/or likeness, for advertising and/or publicity purposes, in any and all media now known or hereinafter invented without territorial or time limitations and without additional compensation.
7. WINNERS LIST REQUEST: For winner names, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope, postmarked by January 7, 2010 and received by January 14, 2010 to: Gold Canyon Sweepstakes Winners List Request, P.O. Box 1095, Elmhurst, IL 60126. Canadian residents may omit return postage.
